Another hiatus has ended
It's been a couple months since the stomach punch I took in the ALCS and I'm finally mentally fit enough to blog again. My Browns and Buckeyes have helped by working their way into the playoff/BCS Title picture.
My how things have changed in my life.
First and foremost, for those that haven't heard, I have a new girlfriend who you previously knew as Mrs. Sizemore. Things went South in a hurry with the girl I was seeing for the past year or so and it was truly amazing to find out exactly the type of person she is. To be fair, the way things ended and the way she found out I was dating Mrs. Sizemore didn't help matters. It's something that I will always regret because I can't help but think some serious drama could have been averted.
It started with her breaking into my house and ended with me losing my job with the Chicago Fire. I'll refrain from going into details for now because there are still likely to be some legal ramifications down the road. If you want the details and haven't heard the full story, feel free to give me a call and I'll explain.
On another topic, it appears my fantasy season came to an end yesterday. I still have Minnesota's defense and Adrian Peterson (Minnesota version) going tonight against the Bears, so I COULD come up with some big points, but I fear its too large of a hole to climb out of. We finished the regular season all alone in second place, but our first round opponent was the benefit of San Diego's defense yesterday and a couple of poor player decisions on my part. I would still be losing going into tonight, but I left an increase of 15 points on the bench with my selections yesterday morning. Sometimes it hurts to have such a deep roster.
In the real world, I'm headed to "Believeland" on Saturday with Mrs. Sizemore. This will mark the first time I've brought a girlfriend home to Cleveland for Christmas or Thanksiving and I'm pretty excited about it. This will be the first time the family meets her after I spent Turkey Day in Cincinnati with her and her family. I'm also excited because I'll get to see the Browns play on TV for just the third time this year. I think the NFL package is going to be a must next fall if the Browns keep up their winnings ways. Thankfully, we already get The Big Ten Network since RCN redeemed their suckiness by picking it up at no extra charge to anyone! Had Comcast decided to do this instead of spend what seems like millions of dollars in advertising bashing the Big Ten, perhaps they'd have had happy customers too.
Hopefully I'll have some more to post soon, but or now I have to help Hutch jump start his Jeep. For now, here is a good picture of Mrs. Sizemore and I watching some Buckeye football together this fall.
